Can Treating A Yeast Infection Cause Very Light Pink Spotting During Early Pregnancy?

I’m 9 weeks pregnant and started having some extremely light pink spotting the day after I started using Nystatin to treat a yeast infection. The Nystatin was prescribed by OBYN. I’m still treating the infection and I continue small pink spots in my underwear when I wake up in the morning. Any suggestions would be highly appreciated!

this is what the hositpal gave me when i was spotting because i was worried like crazy. i’ll tell you what my piece of paper said but it could be different with you but i’ll tell you what they told me.
During early pregnancy (first three months) it is not uncommon to have a small amount of bleeding this can be entirely normal. but if heavy bleeding or severe cramping occur, it can be an early sigh of miscarriage a misscarriage means enexpected loss of your pregnancy
in about half of patients with bleeding or cramping during early pregnancy these symptoms will stop and the pregnancy will continue normally however half of the time a miscarriage will occur a miscarriage may occure due to various causes these include urinary or pelvic infections abnorma growth of the fetus blow cause can be found be reassured that this is not the result of anything that you did wrong and it will not interfere with your ability to become pregnan in the future
home care: to imporve the chance of keeping this pregnancy you should do the folowing
rest in bed until the pain and bleeding stop
avoid sexual intercourse for the next 3 weeks
do not douche or use tampons
follow up make an appointment with your doctor within the next week or as directed by our staff
return promptly or contact your doctor if any of the following occurs:
vaginal bleeding or pain for more than three days
heavy bleeding ( soaking three pads an hour for three hours)
    fever over 99.5
    worse pain
    weakness dizziness or fainting
passage of anything that resembles tissue:pink or grayish membrane or solid material( save and bring to the doctor)
if you feel worried about it i would just make appointment with your doctor or go to the hositpal as soon as you can. i would make sure just in case. but it could be nothing but to make sure that everything is alright i would make a appointment with doctor email me or let me know that you are doing alright. that is what they told me to do when i was spotting a little bit and i’m doing alright and the baby is fine too. I hope that helped out
